the dignity bag project
By creating Dignity Bags—hygiene kits that include nutritious snacks and printed resources for things like clothing, food, showers, and more—we offer a practical way for housed individuals to give back to their unhoused neighbors while learning about the challenges they face. This simple act of kindness helps foster social and emotional connections, reducing the stigma around homelessness. It creates an opportunity for individuals to choose reintegration into society if they wish, while allowing those who live on the streets to do so with dignity and respect.
What Are Dignity Bags?
