New York City
At City Relief, we connect people who are experiencing poverty and homeless to resources they need to survive, and the hope they need to try.
The Bowery Mission is called to minister in the New York metro area to men, women, and children caught in the cycles of poverty, hopelessness and dependencies of many kinds, and to see their lives transformed to hope, joy, lasting productivity and eternal life through the power of Jesus Christ.
The Open Hearts Initiative supports communities across New York City who welcome homeless neighbors and advocate for housing justice in their own backyards. We use our voices and resources to support homeless New Yorkers and make our communities stronger, more integrated, and more equitable — because everybody deserves a place to call home.
COH is a ministry that provides outreach to homeless individuals and those in need. Every Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, we offer a hot meal and a welcoming atmosphere to all who attend. We are located at the Manhattan Church of Christ at 48 E. 80th St. (between Park and Madison).
For over 40 years, Monday Night Hospitality has served restaurant-style meals to those in need in New York City. Each guest is important to us. We believe that everyone, whatever his or her life circumstance, deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.
Covenant House meets immediate needs for food, clothing, safety, and medical and mental health care. We have specialized programs for young parents and their small children and for human trafficking survivors. And we help young people experiencing homelessness to advance their goals and achieve sustainable independence with education, job readiness, and career pathways programs.

The Laundry Truck LA (TLTLA) provides many unhoused families, men, women and children in the downtown and greater LA area with clean clothes. Clean clothing is an essential part of healthy hygiene and overall self-esteem. TLTLA aims to restore a bit of dignity and hope to our local homeless communities through free laundry service.
Safe Place for Youth (SPY) works with youth ages 12-25 who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness and prioritizes low barriers for entry, harm-reduction, a trauma-informed approach, and the provision of a safe, supportive environment. Our mission is to empower young people experiencing homelessness to thrive by providing lasting, community-driven solutions that address racial and social inequity.
Los Angeles Mission breaks the cycle of homelessness and poverty, by stabilizing people in a safe and spiritual environment, connecting them to solutions and walking with them on their journey.
